Honestly depends on your doctor/ hospital you go to. I heard religious hospitals have requirements before they approve that surgery. Like how many kids u have already. Then some doctors don’t want to do it without your husband agreeing to it. Overall depends where you go.
Where I am i depends on the doctor. Some wait until you have kids others don't. My friend had hers done at 22. Took her 5 years to convince her doctor. Her doctor was convinced she would change her mind. My friend had her counselor write her an recommendation for it.
I was offered to have my tubes tied during each of my c sections, if I wanted.

I was 23 with 3 kids doctor said no my sister in law was 25 with 3 kids and got it done

Agreed it is based on State. Doctors here do not care for the age as long as you have 2 Children or are 25, I believe without.
