Hope this isn’t TMI but I’ve given birth a month ago and the bleeding after birth slowed and almost came to an end... now out of nowhere it’s very heavy actually heavier than ever and I’ve noticed small clots... is this normal?

I had a doc appointment today and doc believes that what it is as well.. they’re gonna run other test to make sure all is well but it’s looking like the start of my first cycle... and this is week 7 so that sounds about right
Sounds like you are starting your period. My 1st period after birth was heavy.

Ok it’ll be 7 weeks on Thursday for me so maybe that’s what it is... it’s just extremely heavy
I believe they say it normally takes 6 weeks sometimes longer
Could be your period. With both my pregnancies I had stopped bleeding within 4 weeks of giving birth and right at 6 weeks my period started.
