What Would The World Be Like Without Black People

this is also why I’m getting my doctorate in policy. Those who are in “power” can make EFFECTIVE changes but don’t and won’t. Many are out with their own agenda in mind. There will NEVER be a week or month dedicated to Caucasians. And why? There is a month for Hispanic Heritage, a month for Black History and a month for Women History....so what’s the issue? We are the minority and are treated as such. Educators are told the curriculum that must be taught and they teach it. It’s a drop down approach. We can’t and shouldn’t leave education up to educators and policy makers. Because we know how important we are, or the lack of importance that is exhibited, we must continue to educate our children, or families/friends and take teachable moments even without being a teacher. If we leave it up to “the powers that be”, we, our children, our loved ones, will continue to be left in the dark.

I think your taking my post the wrong way, I'm not bashing anything besides the inequality that still exists, nor did I think we need to leave educators to all the teaching(which is why I homeschool so I take control of my child's education). So I'm sorry if you think I am against you, in fact it is quite the opposite, I'm not posting for drama, just trying to empathize with a group of people who get left in the dust over and over.

EDIT: just to add a fun fact, in the next 20-30 years Caucasians will become the visible minority in the U.S.
