Not baby related but I need some help. Can't ask on fb as my mam will see it. So it's my mams birthday in two weeks, she doesn't eat sweets or chocolate, doesn't drink, has every perfume and bath stuff under the sun, she has a walking issues due to a blood clot in her leg so she isn't able to go out anywhere. She just recently got clothes, pj's and slippers for xmas. She has so much jewellery she doesn't even wear, I haven't a clue what to do for her or get her for her birthday, she's been really down since my nan passed last year, we would normally spend the day with my nan, any ideas ladies? Xx

Have you got any of your nans clothes? I’ve seen people get cushions made out of them or bears etc xx

Nope :(my mams sister is very spiteful, she didn't even tell her her mam was dying when she knew, she is jealous of my mam and wouldn't even let us come and get some things to keep. So we literally have nothing bar a few pics which we got made into a book xxx

Or you could hire someone to look into your grandmothers life? And get things like her birth certificate, marriage certificate and any newspaper articles she was in, basically anything she did with her life, put into a file and give it to your mother? My mam did it for my nans grandfather, he was a boxer xx

What about a little scrap book / photo album, if you can get hold of photos of your nan. Even do one of all of the family, something to look back on together and remember the good times. Especially when feeling down, sometimes looking back is nice to remember ❤️
