yeah see where it came from so you can get the parts it may be cheaper in the long run. You should only need the full size bed rail which for both of my kids bed ran us $100. You should be able to convert to a toddler bed no problem.

I didn't move my oldest until 2 1/2 and hope to keep my youngest in even longer since he's my wild one. If he starts climbing I'll transition.
Before 2 I wouldn't even think about it honestly.

We waited until she was around 2 1/2. She was still comfortable, and not too squished (even though she's super tall). We saw a double mattress and boxspring on sale so got that and converted her crib to a bed frame (next baby I'm not getting one that converts. This frame is soo flimsy. When she rolls around it sounds like it's going to break. Probably just the brand).
