Do you think he is feeding off your anxiety about it all? do you feel relaxed / confident when you settle him?
My daughter always prefered daddy over me... it broke my heart! She is three now and tells me she loves me all the time. When she wakes at night she wants him though, but that no longer bothers me because I get a full nights sleep!

I usually feel pretty relaxed. Sometimes im not though, but i try my best to keep calm and it doesnt really work
