Do the social security office changes names well they spelled my sons name wrong so will the change it

On his birth certificate the spelling is correct just not the s.s.c

@resee, They should change it without a problem. If you have a local office, I’d go there. I had a helluva time doing our stuff by mail and phone.

They usually work off of the hospital records and paperwork. If it was their error they will change it.
