i’m at a loss on what to do ab childcare.. my bf & i both work nights. we don’t have any 24 hour daycares in our area & i only have so many people to watch my son.. my son’s grandmother watches him but after we move she will live 25 mins away. my best friend lives in our new town & can watch him but she’s due with baby #2 in august.. i don’t trust a lot of people to watch my baby, i’m just so lost 😭

i can’t, we shift bid at my job so i’m at a set shift for 4 months out of the year & cant switch.. i’m hoping my bf can, but he picks up extra shifts to be able to pay the bills so it’s just difficult😩

If Gma is willing to drive, 25 min isn't that far away. My inlaws sit for our kiddo and they live 35 or so.

it wouldn’t be bad, but she can’t drive. i don’t think she ever got a license lol it’s my bf’s grandma. if i get the shift i’m thinking, hopefully my mom will watch my son!

I use to drive 30+ miles to drop off my kids at a day care I trusted. Sacrifices we have to make as parents. No one else will take better care of your kids. Specially with all the lunatics and child abductions stories happening. Maybe you should consider staying in the area near your parents.

i have to move to this town bc it’s in the county i have to live in for my job since i work for this county. unfortunately it’s the closest town in this county to where our family lives.. i can make the drive, it’s just my boyfriend’s grandma is having health problems as well which is why i’ve been considering a different babysitter, preferably someone closer 😩

yeah i know 😩 that’s my whole issue. if my boyfriend or i worked day shift it wouldn’t be a problem just putting my baby in daycare
