So my son just turned 3 and is basically potty trained but doesn't want to stay in his boy boxers all day. I'm trying this weekend to have him only in boxers and no pullups. I'm tired of buying pullups, he's ready for boxers, and I need him to be fully potty trained before his sister is born in July lol. Any mommys having the same issue????

Just tell him the pull ups are all gone and it’s boxers only now. Don’t give him any other option. And don’t pressure him about being potty trained by a certain date. July is 6 months away and you have plenty of time. He will most likely go thru a regression when the baby comes anyway. My daughter did, she wanted to be a baby and wouldn’t go to the bathroom without me, and wouldn’t wipe. She’s 4 now and it’s a little better but she’s still very defiant. It’s a process.

Thank you and he does that now like crawls on the floor doing a baby voice and acting like a baby.

Yep that’s what my daughter did, still does sometimes. She talks in a baby voice, which is super cute by the way. She plays like a baby and crawls around. Don’t scold him for it, just play along. But when it comes time to use the potty tell him he’s a big boy now and he’s going to wear boxers. Be positive and make it exciting. Good luck!
