How do you get your kids to stop cussing the other night Lester and I was watching YouTube and we thought Gabe was asleep well he wasn't and now he's been saying what the f***k over and over and now Nora is saying it my religious mil and the kids and I was out to breakfast this morning and they was screaming it pretty much in the restaurant and now I can't get them to stop I tell them over and over we don't say naughty words like that

Were are they hearing it from? Not judging but do ya'll curse in front of them or someone there around? Kids will say things they hear the most there like sponges

No we don't we always have watched what we said around our kids

They will pick up on everything that is bad. Just correct them.

My friend's daughters doctor told her to reply with "Duck? Where the duck?" in an effort to get her daughter to stop saying 'f*ck'.
They totally pick up in everything, but especially the things you don't want them to repeat. I'll admit, he loved saying "fuh fuh fuh" for a while, and I admit it was because I stubbed my toe and cursed automatically. I ignored him, and he stopped within a day.

At first we got away with pretending we didnt understand.
Now we just ignore it and give him other words to use.
My son has a huge vocabulary and is learning quickly how to use words in context. The more shocking or interesting a word is the more likely they are to use it. So we ignore now. He could just as easily be yelling Penis... so we try not to stress about it too much.
*and of course try and watch what we say.

The only thing that worked for us was to completely ignore it even when he screamed it at the top of his lungs. Thank goodness we were at his father's.
