My OB office called a little while ago and said we need to schedule weekly ultrasounds starting in 2 weeks. I think she called it BBF or BFF or something like that. It's to check babygirl's movements, fluid levels, and heartbeat. I don't ever remember having this done before, the only things I ever had were NSTs. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Biophysical profile ultrasounds. They usually don’t get done unless the NST failed or came back inconclusive. I had a TON of issues and was super high risk but even then my ultrasounds were every like 2-3 weeks. I would call your doctor and inquire more information as to why if you don’t know exactly why

@addy I'm at risk of developing preeclampsia and he mentioned having the biophysicals done after I told him about the headaches I've been having so that may have prompted it.

@soon2bmommyof4 ah that makes sense then. Better to be overly cautious.
I enjoyed it bc I selfishly got to see my baby soooooo much more than everyone else lol
And the tech was awesome and one time around 30 weeks she gave me a 3d of him bc she finished the bpp so early.

oh wow, that's scary! I was high risk with my son too but preeclampsia was never a concern with him. This pregnancy I'm at a high risk for it and also high risk due to my age. March cannot come soon enough! I can't believe it's almost February!

I had bpp’s every two weeks with my twins. They’re super quick

I think I had them with my son but they weren't weekly.

I have them done all the time with being high risk is super easy and quick lol I’ll be having these done every Tuesday with the NST on Fridays until February 26 when we have her

Oh ok. Yea I start mine the week after next since I go to my MFM Dr next week.

@soon2bmommyof4, yeah Started doing mines when I ended up in the labor and delivery a couple times they check babies for certain things are score them as well like I think they have to get a ten to pass
