🙌🏼I’m all for believing in your kids and praising them, BUT if it’s something not praise-worthy enough, I’m going to let it be known-- with constructive criticism, of course

Last week @ZianaEliz had to publish a book in class about anything and she chose LOL Dolls😒. I gave her the benefit of the doubt. I thought, ‘okay she’s going to kill it’ and.... it was less then stellar

I applauded her in class, but when we got home I told her that it wasn’t good. It made no sense. I asked if she was paying attention and she said she wasn’t she rushed the story so she can be done

Okay— so I told she’d be writing another story. Not exactly thrilled, but this time around she wrote a story about her family and it was way better! It made sense. Buddha ended up liking writing “books” and started one with monsters LOL❤️

Do you let your kids know when they can do better or let them believe in themselves no matter what?
