Quick question my mother in law middle name and grandma in law middle names are fay. But one is spelled FAY and the other one is spelled FAYE. I’m not close with either of them people and their very rude to me and judge my every move but my husband insisted that if we have a girl I have to use that middle name. So my question is can I spell FAY like this FAEY? I just want it be a little different or is there any other way to spell it other then the 2 ways? I know I sound petty but I really don’t get along and to make my husband happy I have to use the name he doesn’t care how I spell it though! So please help

I find out on Tuesday if this baby is a boy or girl and this big huge ache could be for nothing. Because if this baby is a boy we already have a first and middle name. My husband and I can agree so easily on boys names but girl names we argue for hours about
@samgag@love_linds, seriously omg now you know I’m struggling. It sucks because I personally hate that name. Fay it doesn’t sound good at all 🤦🏼♀️ but because he picked our sons first name I picked there middle name and now that I picked the first name he picks the middle name but he didn’t even give me a chance to help him picked one. He’s just made because both my sons middle names are named after my side so he feels like if this baby is girl it needs to have his sides middle name 😭
@love_linds, that’s how I feel about his mom and grandma name I hate there middle name and I hate there first name even more! I just sucks he makes me feel like a horrible person and made me cry last nothin for not wanting to use there name
@samgagne, Awh don’t let it get to you like that...you don’t need that extra stress. You’ll get something figured out. Maybe he’ll eventually lighten up about it all if he sees how much you dislike it.
@love_linds, Next week at our 3D appointment the tech always right the name that you pick on the ultrasound picture so I hope he changes his mind by Tuesday
I just wouldn't use Faye. Use something that sounds like it.

I would do fae. There's a variation of May spelled Mae. I think people would understand Fae better than Faey
You can spell her middle name "Fae"
It’s so hard because it had to flow with the first name we finally picked last night
Or you could do Fayth, it still has Fay in it but not quite the same you see?

What about Faya? It has Fay in it but it isn’t their name so to say
I’d just insist on using your middle name. He couldn’t really say ‘no’ to you wanting to pass your own name to your daughter. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
@samgagne, awhhh yeah. Well maybe find a way to mix your mother/grandmothers middle name with Faye & make a blended name?!
Like my sister combined Bernadette & Evelyn for both grandparents from each side & came up with Berlyn....just as an example.

@love_linds, my mom has the same middle name as me. Which I hate. And my I would love to use my grandma middle name hers is Mae and I would love to do 2 middles with both but fay and Mae sound way to close so I can’t use them both 🤦🏼♀️the stuggle is real

I’d just say Sailor Mae sounds better to you than Sailor Fae. Lol I’d annoy the crap out of my husband until he gave up. Tbh 😂😂😂
