I need some advice ... for a few months now, I have been experiencing bad headaches, extreme dizziness, and pain deep in my ear. I have been to three different doctors, and they keep telling me “you have fluid in your ear”. So I have had multiple ear drops, and different antibiotics and nothing has helped me. Enough is enough, I feel as if I need deeper testing done but I’m not sure where to go? What to do? Advice please I’m starting to go crazy....

@taylor.stahr won't your insurance cover a specialist with a referral from a family doctor or at least partially cover it

Yes go see an ENT. It sounds like tubes will help you

Have you seen an ENT, or just a regular family doc?

Just a family doctor... 3 to be exact. My insurance doesn’t cover special doctors but I’m beginning to think I need to pay out of pocket for it because I’m getting really worried.

@taylor.stahr, I believe, don’t quote me, but if you get a referral from your primary doctor, it should be covered at least some, but sometimes you have to meet your deductible first...either way, I would highly recommend getting a second opinion with an ear, nose, and throat doctor!

@roth1321, okay... thank you. It’s hard to work and care for my toddler with all these symptoms I have been having lately.
