Surrendering him may be the only way to help him. I know that is not the route you’d like but letting him die would way even harder. Think of his health. He will get the proper care and a loving home and that is what everyone wants in the end.
This dog deserves better. Please still take him in to get checked and consider rehoming him to a permanent home where he isn't being beaten and doesn't have access to full bags of marshmellows. He shouldn't need to be bounced around because you don't have a stable home or job to take care of him. If you truly loved him find him a forever home.
He is with me. He was checked and is fine just cuz ppl go thru hard times doesnt mean you take the only thing they have left. And the marshmallows? Seriously? Accidents happen like you have never made a mistake in ur life.
Have your Mom call in a payment to your vet, ask the vet for a payment plan or surrender your dog. I don’t know what other advice anyone can give you 🤷🏻♀️. Sorry your having to decide this, but if your dog truly is in pain and or dying you owe it to the dog to get him help even if it means giving the dog up. Yeah that would be heartbreaking and sad, but watching your pet in pain and doing nothing is far worse. Please get your dog the help it needs and deserves.
@dpinkpixie10, if it doesn’t have the toxins in it then something else has made him ill. You have to get him looked over by a vet, that’s the very least you can do for him.
I have gave him up for adoption and 8 months later I got back on my feet and he was still there adopted once and brought back 4 days later. Hes to hyper for most ppl to handle
He will have a home. Do not worry. Stop adopting pets if you are not able to care. They will suffer in the long. Put yourself in that pups paw🙈
I am sure lingering around with an illness while your owner stared at you with no hopes to help is pretty bad. Trust me, you’ll be helping him.
And if it will be surrounded by violent humans (if your BF did beat it) then even better.
@icebergahead I did have a stable place but things happen. I did have a job until recently. I'm not with the guy anymore so it's just me and him and my daughter

In light of the comment about your boyfriend beating your dog I read through your previous posts. You need to let your dog go to someone who can look after him properly. It may be hard for you but If you truly care for him you’ll let him go. He deserves more than you seem able to offer at the moment. That’s sad for you but 100% the best thing for him.
Are you sure it was from the marshmallows? Not long ago your boyfriend beat the dog. Did you take your dog to the vet after? Are you still with this dude? Did you leave the dog alone with him? I have so many questions.
So your first thought was “oh I think my dog is dying let me hop on to ML to see what people say” 🙁 Get a plan in place so that if something happens again you can get him medical care. In fact you should probably still take him to be checked over because you don’t know what’s going on internally.
I'm going to and yes because I lost most friends that I cut out of my life because they r on drugs and I'm staying clean and they cant understand that so I have no one to ask for advice but the moms on here
Read the ingredients the artificial sweetener xylitol is toxic to dogs.
“[Xylitol] can cause a life-threatening blood sugar drop or hypoglycemia in dogs. Additionally, xylitol can also cause rapid liver failure,” says Heather Loenser, DVM, and veterinary advisor, public and professional affairs, for the American Animal Hospital Association. “Dogs are most often exposed to xylitol when they accidentally eat sugar-free gum or peanut butter that contains it. I recommend that dog owners carefully read the label of all ‘sweet’ products including tooth paste, cookies and candies, and keep anything containing xylitol out of reach of a curious canine.”
He was drooling not moving standing in one spot very cold to the touch then after I warmed him some by rubbing him he like snapped out of it and is moving around now
You've had him since he was 4 weeks old, if you really truly think he's dying please take him and try to get him help. I'm sure you don't want to lose him since you've had him that long. Talk with the vet, they have payment options.
I can afford to. I am trying to get my job back I lost due to a domestic violence because of all the court I had. So until I get it back or get one my mom is helping me out. Dont judge people
