Sneak peek at my first crocheted octopus 🐙 for my hospital door wreath I’m making. It’s taken me around 4-5 hours total to make, now I just need to crochet the eyes and it’ll be completely finished.💙

@kellyjc, It’s just something you hand on the door with the baby’s birth info (weight, length, name...)@roth1321, I just chained 40 then starting in the 3rd chain from the hook I put 2 single crochets into every chain until I got to the last one then I joined to the body with a single crochet into the next stitch.

also, I saw you were going to crochet the eyes, I also found these things called “safety eyes”, they are like hard plastic with studded backs and a plastic piece that goes over it to keep it securely in place. In case you interested!

oh okay I’ll look into those. I was just going to do a magic ring and start the eyes like that then sew them on.
