I have a 19 month old, who will begin early intervention services fairly soon. I constantly feel emotionally drained as of late. After having multiple evaluations done I've grown more and more worried about my son's development. Worry is a constant state of motherhood that I was not fully prepared for. When my son was 3 months old he had to be operated on. Luckily he is a healthy boy and recovered over time, but I can honestly say that was the worst and hardest moments of my life. At this point I feel I'm watching every behavior he had and worrying if it means anything and driving myself crazy. And to top it all off we have now entered the full on tantrum stage of which I'm not sure at all how to navigate.

I've never posted on a community like this before, but I desperately needed an outlet to vent!!! #myfirstpost
