I know you all think I'm terrible since I wish avian could do more physically but it's like all you ever hear from other people he's 11 months and wherever I go, work, school, baby classes the first thing anyone ever asks is if he's walking already like they have an expectation that he is so sorry for giving into peer pressure but it makes me feel like a bad mom since he's not walking and that's all everyone seems to ask/care about

Don't feel bad! I know kids who walked at 15 months and some at 9 months. Every kid is different. Doesn't make him behind or you a bad mom

As long as he’s crawling, don’t worry about it. My daughter didn’t walk independently until she was about 15 months.

My son won't walk without hia walker pther then a few random steps here and there. I dont expext him.to walk until after his birthday 🤷♀️

My older son started walking right before his first birthday. But I know other babies who were just mastering standing up only on thier first birthday. Every baby is different. Don't let other people's expectations of your child bother you. Try not to put too much pressure on yourself or your son. He will get there. Just keep in encouraging him. ❤️

My daughter is a year and isnt walking yet. She cant even stand on her own for more then 5 seconds. People are probably asking cus that's just an exciting mile stone to hit and they are curious

You're not a bad mom for being concerned about his development. But I think you need to be a bit more patient with him. Just play and enjoy him! Soon he will be running all over getting in to shit and you'll miss when he wasn't mobile lol

I think people are asking to be polite and to have something to have a conversation about.
My oldest didn't walk until around 15-17 months independently and my second was probably around the same.
As long as he's crawling and reaching milestones and your doctor doesn't seem concerned, then I wouldn't worry.

People just ask becuase theres not much else they do that age. It's just something to talk about and have a conversation about out of politeness. You're reading too much into it.

Each baby is completely different. My son didnt walk till 14 months. He will get there. Just continue to help him
