Baby girl got glasses today!! 💜💜 I felt so bad, because I had no idea she couldn't see! She hasn't had any issues with school or anything for me to suspect it until we went to her annual doctors appointment and they put her in front of the eye chart! Luckily she wanted glasses and is so excited.
When we walked outside with her glasses on she said "oh my goodness the sky is so high up, I use to be able to touch it now I cant!" It's like she's in a whole new world. 😊
@emmahrenholz sadly he's right. If there's no red flags for us to pick up on, there's no possible way for us to know there's even a problem.
@soon2bmommyof4 I'll just be more cautious with my next kiddo and make sure he gets checked out at a younger age!
Aww I love them!
And yes the headrest can be raised a lot more, there is a red button on the top of the headrest that moves it up or down. You want to raise it until her harness straps are just above her shoulders.
@jmedina I remember when I bought it that it said it did all kinds of fancy stuff but i didnt understand it all then!!! Thank you so much. I just got it readjusted. I try to be good about carseats and straps and all that! Thanks for not jumping down my throat about it! Lol. Do you know if it changes into a booster also? I thought it did. But if you know off the top of your head let me know please!
@emmahrenholz It took me awhile to get hang of it so I try to help other mamas do the same. Is it the graco nautilus? If it is it does turn into a booster, usually when she outgrows the harness or able to sit properly 100%. The straps look great though! Also is it top teathered? That's very important with forward facing seats.
@jmedina yeah it is. Yeah I wasnt going to change it to a booster anytime soon. I like her in a five point as long as possible! And yes I have it tethered! 😊 I think all I was doing wrong was needing it raised!
That is the sweetest thing ever!
Looks like she may be too big for that car seat.. Can you raise the headrest up more?
I'm not sure! It's on my list of things to do to get her the next one up! Thank you!
She's adorable!! Don't feel bad tho. I had no clue my son needed glasses either. He wasn't cooperative at school when they did the vision test last year, so they recommended taking him to an optmoligist and that's when we found out he needed them. He gave me no clues at home that it made me even think he needed glasses.
