Snapped this on Friday when she got home from school. I get so busy sometimes I forget she is going to be 11 this year! I can remember her as a baby and how we learned to navigate this thing called motherhood together. She still continues to teach me all while testing my patience 🤣 but seriously I never forget that she made me a member of the mom club at 23 years old. I had no idea what I was doing and to be completely honest I’m still learning even with all 4 kids. There is always something changing and it’s because all of them are so very different. One thing I’m not surprised by is her heart, she loves like no other. I know one day she will use that to benefit so many other people who come into her path. I’m proud of the young lady she is becoming (even though I’m terrified of her true teenage years 🤣) she is so smart and when she applies herself accomplishes great things. What is a characteristic you see in your child(ren) that you are proud of? Aiden my older son has an infectious laugh and goofy personality that lights up any room. Finley my younger son is so incredibly affectionate and has a smile that would melt your heart. Scarlett the youngest has the most outgoing personality, she loves snuggling and showing you she loves you. We don’t always sit and really look at our kids like this but I try to once in a while. It reminds me especially when I feel like I’m failing as a mother that I just might be doing something right somewhere. I wouldn’t trade this #momlife for anything. They bring out so much in me by being their amazing selves.
