Well it happends my hubby cousin side we see them like once ever 3 years and she as an Olivia and i have Aulyvia ( same name spelled differently) it just happend like that and i dont care at all a name is a name

You should casually mention it lol does she know that’s your sons name? I was gonna name my daughter Julia and my cousins name is Julie lol I had forgotten so I changed it cause I don’t wanna have the same name as anyone else in my family lol

I had a son and he passed away his name was Malik my friend had her son and wanted to name him Malik after my son that made me feel good. Then my other friend named her son Malachi after my son(other form of Malik)

My daughter is named the same as hubby's cousin's daughter, and I didn't even know until after we agreed on a name for her. I had always wanted an Olivia ever since I was little and so did his cousin.(his cousin's daughter is only 10 months older then our daughter) It's really not a big deal. It's just a name. If you think about it there are billions of Josiah in the world... Maybe she don't know either? Or maybe she loves your sons name so much she wants to use it too? I'd feel honoured if I was you. You obviously picked a great name for your son 🙂

aww well I'm glad you weren't hurt over it. It is a great thing, and just think when the boys are older they may love that fact they have the same first name. And enjoy telling people they do lol

I remember when my sister in law named her baby after my middle name and my sister’s first name. I don’t know why that irked me but it did. She’s also known to steal party ideas and what not. I remember the feeling, mamma. It’s frustrating and just how don’t people are.
