Got the epidural..why do I still feel the contractions on one side tho ... 🤦🏻♀️😫 I just want to sleep a bit
They didnt give you a button to push for more medicine to release? If they did I'd be pushing it.
One side was more numb than the other during my first one but laying on the side worked. They probably told you to do that first to see if it did. But you need to tell them it's not working and they need to fix it.
Yes! I thought it was normal back then and ended up feeling her crown and birth and everything afterwards including stitches and problems delivering the placenta. Ended up not being able to have another epidural again due to what happened to my back. Please tell them! ❤
I agree I got the epidural and everything was okay for a while then I started feeling a lot of discomfort and told the anesthesiologists and she was beyond rude to me. Thankfully my mother works on the medical field and was quick to advocate for me and my midwife also did as well and I was given something else! Stand up for yourself mama
Yep, as pp said, ask the nurse to get the anesthesiologist. If it isn't working and you aren't comfortable, stick up for yourself
Tell them!
That happened to me , they came back and
Placed it again and it worked on both sides
I did tell them they just said to lay a the side to get both going but nope 😫😫
@marlenehz94, that’s messed up 🤦🏽♀️ tell them they need to come
Back and do it over
Telllllll them! It can take awhile for it to kick in on each side, but not long. They should have you rotate to make sure the medicine gets to every area. I was rotated every 10 minutes or so. My doctor was amazing with it tho.
