My daughter has had on and off 102.7 - 103.2F fever since Sunday. Is that too many days already? When I give her medicine she’s okay but once the 4-6 hours is off it goes back up again.

Umm yes you need to take her go the doctor asap anything after 2 days is too long especially that high

@ethanandkayleensmommy you should have taken her to the emergency room if that was the case. My daughter had a fever like that for 3 days we took her to the emergency room she had full blown strep throat so they gave her antibiotics then 2 days later she broke out in roseola all over her body from her having a fever for so long

That’s not true. A fever can go up to 4 days with a virus and be completely normal. Anything beyond that should be seen.
Also roseola is a virus that probably caused the fever not the other way around. It’s also treatable at home.
The emergency room is not meant for treating fevers.

That happened to my daughter when she was 3 months old I took her to her to the ER and they kind of laughed at me and said oh Mom it's just a cold which really pissed me off then a couple more days go by I take her to a pediatrician for a second opinion she test her for the flu and she was positive so always get a second opinion because those doctors are so annoying sometimes
