We close his door and he has a gate in front of it so if he gets up and we’re dead asleep he can’t wander the house. But he stays in bed for the most part. We also have a camera, even though you can hear everything in my house. He tends to be very quiet when he’s tired, so he could be awake and sitting in his room when he should be falling asleep and I’d have no idea
My daughter has her own room and a toddler bed. I leave her door open and when she gets up she either comes to my room and wakes me up or yells for one of us from her room.
We do. We don’t have a camera or even baby monitors, and I shut their door. I check on them regularly when they’re awake, and I’m a very light sleeper, so I wake up to any little noise.
My son started climbing out of crib at a year and half we got a baby gate at his door he gets up again he’s two but cries for a minute and goes right back to bed
My daughter is 12 months and we're moving and she will have her own room. Do you keep your doors open and does he get out the bed to come to your room?
@leahsmyworld, we’ve always closed his door. We have a camera to watch him. When he got his toddler bed he did really good about staying in bed. There have only been a handful of time that he’s gotten out.
