Bills and figuring out what I'm entitled to are so confusing, money is such an issue right now🙄

Me too!! Well I’ve had my little boy and was claiming income support (which u can claim from 29wks) and housing and council tax benefit however my area has just switched to Universal credit and I’m at a loss because I haven’t had a letter explaining what’s different all I know is I’m worse off now than what I was before UC came to my area x

Yeah I'll be getting UC too and I don't really understand it!! I got a flat with the council at the end of December and have had to pay £400 rent upfront, and £293 council tax for the last 3 months of the yearly payment aswell as having to furnish it put floors down and everything because its literally just the concrete ground, as a single girl on minimum wage at 33 weeks pregnant I'm finding it really hard to cough up all this money and survive :( let alone the flat being a half hour drive away from the area I'm in now as it's the only place I could get so fuel going up there every day after work to decorate it is costing me so much, as I can't even live there yet as its so dirty and empty😴😴 I don't get how all you mums do it my little girls not even here yet and I'm struggling so much
