Lost the baby I got an operation on Thursday to have it surgically removed will it hurt?
I am so so sorry to hear this. I have had 3 miscarriages in the past 1.5 years and had surgical management for one of them. It was definitely the right choice for me. The surgery is fine. You won't feel anything but like Vix said have someone with you. I was tearful when I went down and when I woke up. But physically it was fine. It is very emotionally draining. I feel so bad for you xx
I think it took me about 20 minutes after too feel awake. Was home by 7 x you have options with regards to baby. You can either let them take baby to be cremated and you don't get ashes or you can collect and have baby cremated yourself. It's personal choice x
@keybop2014 It's ok they will go through all this with you on Thursday, but it's nice to feel prepared. Sorry for your loss x
I had the operation yesterday, as I found out on my 12 week scan that I too had a delayed miscarriage. I was petrified but the operation wasn't too bad, I had general anaesthetic and was given really good pain killers x
Umm I went down at about 3:50 and was in recovery by 4:20. So not long x
@mimibear How long did you wake up ? What did they do with your baby ? Xx
So sorry for ya loss hun xx
