Do any other moms ever play out in their head what they would do if they were ever put in terrible situations. Like if an intruder were ever in your home, what would you do, and how would you keep your little one(s) quiet?

Recently I have ever since seeing bird box and the part where she left the kids in the boat I started thinking if I was in a dangerous situation (not as bizarre or scary as bird box) would I bring him with me to flee together or would I try to make it out first to save him. Prayerfully I hope to never find out.

Yes every day!! 😭 I’d grab all my knifes and my heaviest pot and if they try to break into our room I’d put the kids into the closet and text/call 911 and do my thing until one of us ends up on the floor and the cops show up.

I do. I have a set of protective headgear for my daughter if push comes to shove 🔫 ( My last resort ) I also have a taser near my bedside that is high up so she cannot reach it Lol i can barely too since i am short but it is easily accessible for emergencies. &’ Also my curtain rods are very pointy 🤣 which i chose on purpose. I have multiple flashlights in bedroom, closet and bathroom for emergencies.
