I forgot to ask this way sooner lol but for some reason it just came to me, is it normal that my back hurt a crap ton worse then any other part during delivery of my baby? Like to the point i couldnt tell if i was having normal contractions because the back pain never went away until he was fully out
I felt everything in my back and it was awful. My doctor told me if you have a lot of back pain when you have period cramps, you’ll likely have a lot of back pain with contractions. With my periods, I don’t get any stomach pain, but instead have pain all down the back of my legs and then my lower back and that’s exactly where I felt it during labor 👎🏻😩
Really not looking forward to that again
I have extremely irregular periods, but when i did have a period the cramps are all down by my belly button and inner thigh areas, not my back :(
Yes its normal and called back labor. It is usually caused by the baby being face up (they are typically face down) during labor but I think some women just have it no matter what.
@jmedina all they kept saying is "the baby is facing me" and they never told me why they induced in general because its not like i wasnt moving along or anything, tbh the hospital was extremely sketchy i will never go back to it.
@mariomum that is probably why then, sounds like baby was coming out face up making things harder and more painful! And in some cases like mine they get stuck!
I had the worse back labour with my third it’s normal x
