We usually let our son fall asleep in our bed then carry him to his crib

My toddler never stays asleep in her crib anymore 😩 I’m tired 24/7 because she wakes up to pacify on me several times through the night. By the 3rd time I just stick her in bed with me. I’m the one not being consistent but when it’s 4 A.M. I don’t really care 😄

I’ve tried night lights, sound machines, putting her crib right next to the bed, music, video, silence, darkness... nothing makes her sleep through the night unless she’s in bed with me. Crowded bed. Exhausted mommy.

I think I got lucky with my youngest, he wanted in his own room as bad as we wanted him in there. We started with him falling asleep for nap and being moved there for 2 days but after that he went straight to his room in his crib and slept through the night from there on out.

My oldest is another story hes 3 1/2 with a toddler bed in our room and some days sleeps in his room but most nights hes in ours and I have no idea how to fix it. I feel like such an asshole getting rid of his toddler bed I can't bring myself to do it.

I agree with @monavidaaxo, advice. Try the t shirt or something with your scent. Do u read to him at bedtime? I also read until my boys are almost asleep then I sneak out of their room. My youngest is 4 and he will get up but I tell him I’ll be right back to check on him. I’ll go to the bathroom and check on him and he’s asleep always. I tell him he gets 3-4 stories depending on how tried he is. He’s usually pretty tired as he wakes up early and doesn’t nap. Good luck. I’ve never co slept but my oldest, he’s 6, would always sneak into our bed every night. We would just bring him back to his room. He was always 1/2 asleep when he would come in so he would fall right back to sleep in his bed. Luckily he’s been great lately
