So I asked my bf to get me a frer digital on his way home so I can have confirmation... He seems to not like the idea of early testing now. Smh he wants to wait until I miss my period to "find out naturally". I tried to explain to him that after taking the test today (earlier post) that's pretty much out the window and it will stress me out / drive me crazy waiting!
I explained there are benefits to knowing early, although I know the reason behind this is he's scared of going through the emotions of a miscarriage.
Do you have any website or know where I can get info on the benefits of knowing asap? so that I can convince him that knowing now isn't so bad lol

Its beneficial in alot of ways, especially if you have low progesterone problems, that's one of main causes of recurrent miscarriages, alot of women start it directly after ovulation. Or upon getting a positive pregnancy test. In these cases , it's better earlier than later.

I've heard of that. I am not sure if I do or not. I'd assume maybe not. But I have had a missed miscarriage before. So that's one of the reasons I do want to know early.. Preventing doing/ use of stuff that could cause harm is a second.

When is your period due? I understand him being nervous about a miscarriage but knowing early isn’t going to change anything. You’re the one potentially carrying a baby inside of you and if you want to know sooner than later then that’s up to you.

I believe my period is due next Monday based off ovulation. Yeah I understand as well but I think the benefit out weighs that. And yes I know myself...and I'd just end up going behind his back testing anyways lol so he knows me and he's stopping to get one.

I agree. Waiting to get your period is like a free test. Those frer are really expensive and so often you test and then get your period. To each their own but I'm with your dude on this.

If money isn't an issue, would you test? Money isn't an issue for us..I know that's not his issue.
But I got a faint positive that never happens and am trying to see if digital comes back positive. So period or not I don't think you'd get a positive digital and not be pregnant.. Am I wrong?

Even if money isn't an issue I still don't agree with early testing. Go over to ttc board and see all the " I think there is a vvvvffll posts."
If you wait until you've actually missed your period if you see a line on a test or a positive you can trust it.
I think early testing really messes with your head especially if you're really wanting to be pregnant.

If you want to test, I'd wait atleast a day or 2 more. To build up the hcg and to be closer to your estimated date for your period.

I know lol, I was just saying it might not be able to pick up on a digital. Some tend to need more hcg to show a positive.
