Help: My son had a temperature regulation issue for his first 2 weeks of life, and we were told to hold him 24/7 those first 2 weeks. He is long past it now but now we have a sleeping issue. He only wants to sleep in our arms.
Arms- 8-10 hours
Swing- 2-3 hours
Bassinet- 20-40 minutes
So how do we get these times reversed?!
Please don't suggest CIO as he is only 3.5 months old!
Picture so we dont get lost. :)

When he wakes up make sure he isnt hungry, cold/hot or dirty diaper get him back to sleep then lay him back down in the swing/bassinet. Eventually he will get it 😁

My first I kinda had that issue. I hope this can help some. Some one told me to put a piece of my clothing with my scent on it. In the crib. It worked for a while. Another person suggested doing a lavender oil and chamomile oil rub on the chest to further relaxation. Didn't try it. Then my 2nd I would lay in the middle of my bed with her. When she is knocked out 100% I slowly slid off bed. Built a fort of pillows around her. Black out curtains and calming music.

My son is almost 7 months old and still will only sleep in my arms. But he does have a breathing problem and will stop breathing. The couple times I have put him in his swing he’s stopped breathing luckily I wasn’t a sleep yet and aw him. So I have no idea how the transition is going to go😞 they said his breathing won’t get better until he’s 18 months😩

Try a weighted sleep sack and a white noise app. I use an app called Relax Melodies and this sleep sack.
