Hey mommy’s, when did you all start your babies on baby food. My baby will turn 4 months tomorrow and I was thinking about introducing him to baby foods with the next couple weeks but I wanted to get a few opinions because I’ve had a few people say I should wait until 6 months?

We waited until our son was about 5 months. He was so interested in what we were eating and he would open his mouth when we took bites lol that's when we started him on baby food.
Waiting until at least 6 months is a hard line. Trust me you don’t want to push any baby foods or juices on any child younger
My pediatrician had suggested i start at 4 months but we decided to wait until 6 months. We were in no rush, and took it slowly introducing things one at a time. Until she had gotten used to it. As well as the snacks but her first tooth did not appear till like 10 months. So we just had to be careful on what we fed her.
I think a lot of it depends on the baby and when the baby is ready, but I wouldn’t recommend anything before 6 months. My ped tried to tell me my daughter was fine at 4 months, but I knew she wasn’t. I didn’t start her until almost 7 months on solids. My sons ped told me 6 months, so even different doctors will say different things.
It all depends on your baby! My doctors told me my son will most likely be eating baby food at 4 months. I’d talk to the pediatrician and see what he say.
Wow . Did she tell you to disregard what your doctor said what your allowed to do what your own child 😩 these people on this app think they’re internet doctors 😂 they would rather you listen to them than your own physician . Smh

I waited until his doctor gave him the okay and that was @ 4 months .
6 months and when he shows all the signs of readiness!
Wait till at least five months and baby must be able to sit up unassisted
