Look into harness to booster seats. I wouldn’t get another convertible at this age. Britax frontier, Chico my fit, graco wayz, evenflo maestro are some examples. I have the first one and my almost 6 year old still fits with the harness.

Looking at the chico my fit le but unsure if shes to young it says 2 and up but she still seems so little to me

when using the harness in that seat it’s the same thing as using a convertible forward facing. She is the right age for it.

I dont have that issue yet although we have already decided on booster after she grows out of convertible.
We plan on getting the Nuna AACE Booster Car Seat.
Child weight/height: Ages 4 and up; 40–80 lb. high-back booster; 50–120 lb. backless booster; up to 60”.
Seem’s like we will getting good use out if it especially with the weight and height limit. Our daughter is on the petite side.
