I've been using cotton wool and water to clean Riley's bum due to a horrible red raw rash on his bum, the skin has opened a teeny bit 😭. I was wandering if there's anything I can do to help ease it for him at all as it's bothering him so much that he really screams the place down :/
I've been using sudocrem but it doesn't seem to be helping the situation. Please help ?

Give him some calpol and metenium cream is supposed to be really good x

You need to dry it out with talc hun sudocrem will only keep it wet xx

Warm water cotton wall like your doing dab it dry and leave his nappy off put a towel down xx

Thank you. Did that for him earlier (no nappy with towels down) But he's a sleepy baby so I had to get him dressed so he could go to sleep :') xx

Me too x Not that I can see of, shall check when he wakes 😊 He's been teething since 2ish months just dribbling and chewing on anything he can he had a rashy bottom back then too but this time it's come back so bad :/ xx

The doc gave me some stuff cant remeber what its called as it was so long on it was like thick paste it cleared up in 2 days x

Going to take him to the doc soon as I can get an appointment see if there's anything they can do to help. Maybe I'll end up with the paste stuff too :') x

If you have breastmilk putting that in and letting it air dry will really help. Or just keeping him nappy free as much as you can. You can also burn some flour in a frying pan and put that on. I’ve not done it but it’s supposed to help a lot.

Not the same time no the vasaline stops it getting worse not so much heal it I'd do one nappy loads of metanium then next nappy vasaline and so on have u tried metanium its amazing stuff xx @babypeanut.x
