My fiancé has still had no luck finding a job since we moved here, so I put my app in for us cellular since I have almost 10 yrs of wireless sales experience, customer service experience and management experience, I applied last night and got a call today already for a phone interview then the next step I believe is in person, the only thing I’m worried about is them denying me the job since I’m pregnant and due in May 🤷🏻♀️ legally they’re not supposed to deny employment based on pregnancy but they would surely use a different excuse ugh I’m nervous! Any advice from pregnant moms finding a job?! I wasn’t really wanting to go back to work this pregnancy but we need income bad! If I can get it then I’ll do what I have to so I can provide, im just so nervous about going back to work after not working for a year and being judged for being pregnant interviewing for a job 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

I hid my pregnancy when going in for a interview with target and got the job at that time I was around 24 weeks I wore a black top that was big and it worked no one knew until I showed up for training good luck mama hope everything works out

With my daughter I was "laid off" for being pregnant 😕 as I started showing they gave me a bull excuse as to why they had to let me go, and just not wanting to be denied again I stopped working- with Baby#2 I've worked most of my pregnancy up until 2 weeks or so ago, the company I started with was when I was about 3 months or so, so not showing as much and was lenient throughout my pregnancy, it's been a hassle now due to it being 12 hrs on my feet but pregnancy isnt a medical leave reason😔😕😐 so I had to make the decision to stop working and try applying for my short term disability now. That’s awful! Ugh some companies are horrible! Sorry that happened to you! Hopefully they won’t judge me on it, I’ve worked pregnant before, with Delilah I worked at a cell phone store and had no issues so I’m hoping the same this time but I was only like 2 or 3 months along and not showing at all when I got hired lol I ended up quitting a couple months before she was born though but that was because of other reasons so 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I was also “Let go” for being pregnant. I was only a couple weeks, but my boss didn’t like that I was constantly in the bathroom puking instead of at my desk. Even though I was getting my work done. This was at a hospital too 🙄
