Maybe if u tell your landlord and send a picture of the broken card they will be okay with getting rent a little late. The way our paychecks fall we always pay rent late 😅 our landlord doesn't care as long as he's getting the payment before the month is up.

We do too. Our grace period is the 5th of the month but we always end up sending it like the 7th lol

that's what our is too. It says on our lease there's a 35 dollar late fee if u pay after the grace period. We paid on the 15th last month because my fiance's payroll got switched and they didn't pay him when he normally gets paid He didn't charge us anything extra. As long as we keep him in the loop he's great about it thank God. One of our neighbors was 4 months behind on rent and he gave them the option to work off the rent instead of eviction. They didn't do but the fact that he worked with them was really nice.

Do you have a rent grace period? Maybe try contacting your landlord and tell them what's going on. Or can the bank offer you a temp card or something? I'm sorry you're going through this. It's an easy time for things to be extra stressful.

I will call our landlords here soon and explain they are very uptight if we are a day late they threaten to give us a eviction notice if not we might have to get a loan I did call my husband pay card (it through his work) they are sending us one so it should be here Wednesday

When my husband gets paid it goes on a card we do have money in the bank but not enough for rent and food for this week
