My husband is freaking out that our son picked this out at the store with me today. He says it's a baby doll and we have a boy not a girl. Come one is Jack Jack from a movie our son loves. I don't see the big deal. We are trying for baby number two. Why is letting him have this such a bad thing.

It's just how my husband's family is. He has girl cosuis he was always around if he tryed to pay with the dolls is papa and dad would spank him when he was little

Its not a bad thing tell him to hush!!! It's baby Jack Jack is from a movie and he's a boy!! ! I can understand if he picked out a baby alive doll thats a girl! My kids love this movie as well!! Smh. It's not a big deal!!! He has to know hes overreacting and making something outta nothing

We let our boys play with whatever toys they like to play with. They are toys. It's sad that we live in a world where there can only be boy toys or girl toys and not just toys. Some people still get really hung up on it and it's a cycle we need to brake.

I have no clue my son just loves baby's and is always wanting to play with them he likes to help with baby's when they are around him. He is 2 and he wants a brother or sister so bad. He s been asking for months for mommy to have a baby

So many people are afraid of their boys growing up to be gay if they are allowed to play with girl toys... newsflash! boys will be gay whether they choose to play with girl toys or not, it's already in their DNA... 🙄 my son treats his action figures like baby dolls, feeds them, burps them, and holds them like a baby, he doesn't even need an actual baby doll lol. I just explained this to my brother and boyfriend the other night, him wanting to play like that with his toys just means he'll grow up to be a good father and husband one day and if he turns out to be gay, it will have nothing to do with that. I wouldn't be surprised if he was actually and that's perfectly ok.

Go buy your son a baby doll lol.
But tell him he can deal with it. It's almost 2019, boys can play with barbies and baby dolls. Just because he was raised that judgmental way doesn't mean he has to raise his kids that way. Break the cycle.
Also a baby doll may help prepare him for a new sibling.
