In all seriousness, this is an extremely dangerous situation. Kids should not be at the pump at all, let alone barefoot. Please educate yourself and keep that sweet baby safe.

It says right on the pumps that anyone under the age of 12 shouldn’t be pumping gas.

I understand kids wanting to "help" their parents but for the love of God put some shoes on that kid before they walk on that disgusting gas station ground. I work at a semi truck shop that has fueling stations for both semi's and cars. Ground covered in gas/diesel, grease, oil, grime, piss, poop(not exaggerating) other bodily fluids. Eek... hope you scrubbed those kids feet.
