We had such an amazing Christmas full of family, laughter, and love. I’m so blessed to have such amazing inlaws. Especially when the only family I heard from today was one brother (I have 3) and none of my parents (not for lack of trying on my part). But that’s okay. I’ve always been one to press on the road alone. I’ve always been independent and my family’s actions have never crippled me. I sat with my husband tonight in bed and we counted all the ways we were blessed. How we met, the timing of it all, the things we have in common, and where we are now, almost a decade later. And, instead of going to bed sad on Christmas because my family didn’t bother to reach out to me (the way I had them), I’m going to bed incredibly happy and grateful for everything in my life now. ❤️
