Hopefully I ovulated later than I thought. Then I would be 5 weeks, but I would have still had my BFP and missed period on the 8th. Or maybe I'm just grasping at straws. 😕

I guess I will wait and see what happens. We told my kids because our friends are nosey as hell, and I wanted the kids to know before the whole town. Now I'm thinking we shouldn't tell anyone tomorrow like we were planning on...I wish we would have waited for the appointment.

Usually clinics wont even let you in for a check up until 8 weeks. By then there is more to see and easier to pick up heart beat. Best wishes

How early can they see anything on the ultrasound?

Your dates could be off or the pregnancy may not be progressing on track. I’m not sure why they’d send you for a scan without doing a blood hcg panel to ensure your levels are rising accordingly. If your only measuring 4 weeks and you got a positive two weeks ago that would indicate that things are possibly not progressing..you’d not get a positive at 2 weeks gestation because that doesn’t actually exist. It would be more likely that your 5 weeks and got a positive at 3..likely because you ovulated late in your cycle. That would make more sense.

If a pregnancy was seen and confirmed they’d date it accordingly not give you a random guess. Did they visualize a sack and fetal pole?

They didn't say anything said I should go back in 2 or 3 weeks and get another ultrasound

Are they doing a 48 hour blood draw to see if your hcg is at least doubling?
