I’m thinking of it , every time I ask my midwife is it because of my Mirena she swears it’s fine but it’s like it’s irritating my cervix and my body just not agreeing with it. When I first got my Mirena I had to get a rocephin shot because my cervix had became so inflammed
I did i got mines removed back in January of this year and I'm so glad that I did 🙌🙌

I had mines put in a year ago. I started spotting almost 11 months into having mirena every so often. I try to keep up with the spotting since it’s not like every 28 days. Lately for the past couple of months I been having a yeast infection. Midwife said my cervix was inflammed, yeast infection and bacteria. I take care of my body so I was really looking crazy. She did a culture that showed yeast and bacteria. Was prescribed antibiotics and they worked for a couple of weeks then the symptoms came back so I got a Rocephin shot. Well last Thursday made a week since I got the shot and now the symptoms are back. Midwife said she could feel my Mirena string and it’s in place. At this point I’m frustrated and don’t know what to do.
I got bv a few times while I had it in. I hated it. Bled for almost a year. And felt pregnant every other month 🙄
@jennyrae17, I want something that’s going to last me at least 4 years. I had the implanon and it got lost in my arm, Dept was a no go and I can’t remember to take bc pills 🤦🏽♀️
I never used it but heard from countless girlfriends that it’s terrible and not to use it
@kyenkenmom, you poor thing! You’re having the same experiences as my girlfriends and some of them are even worse so keep your head up because it could be far worse and more painful but seems you’ve figured out the issue so good luck to you and I hope everything works out. Are you removing it?
