Girl, I haven't wrapped a SINGLE damn present yet! I have to work tomorrow too then go straight from clocking out to my husbands uncle's house for an early Christmas dinner. So Saturday is pretty much out! I'm REALLY running outta time here!!

I hope you’re feeling better!! I just finished wrapping gifts. I was doing it for about 4 hours. I wrapped over 50 presents!! I had a pack of gift tags and it had 50 in them and they are all gone!! Crazy right!!

@rese, haha I had other people’s gift for my kids to wrap that’s why it was so much. Plus I wrap the stocking stuffers which I don’t think I’m going to do anymore!!

yea all those gifts were not for my kids. I had my niece and nephew twins (they are my sil’s kids)then we did a Pollyanna with my sisters kids and another one with my sisters, mom and step dad. So all those gifts too. I got a few for my dh too. They didn’t get much this year. We just moved and their big gift was new desks for their rooms. But they won’t be in till after Christmas. I’m really bummed about that because that was the first thing on my 6 year olds list. I left it to my dh to order the desks and that was a big mistake! I’m very upset they won’t be here for Christmas but we are going to tell the boys that we bought them and they will be in 2 days after Christmas. That should keep us busy during their break putting them together lol!!

I felt so good about finishing all my shopping early that I’ve sat on my ass and done nothing now I have to wrap everything 😩.. next year I need to remember to shop AND wrap early.

@ss3mom, see I wish I could do that but my kids don’t even leave me alone lol by the time I can be sure they are sleeping I’m ready to sleep myself lol. I’ve started keeping lists on my phone of what I buy for who and how much I spent on each item, I’ve done it for the last 3 years now and it works really well for keeping track. Then to store it all I have a black garbage bag designated to each child and put everything in it as I buy and hide it somewhere lol.

@mimixtmn, @rese, well my dh was home when I started. So he kept them downstairs while I was wrapping. But my 6 year old came up as I was wrapping my Dh’s gifts so he wanted to help with that a little. Then I stopped to eat dinner then my dh gave the boys a bath so I finished up then. Since we moved we are getting our master closet redone so it’s totally empty so I’ve been storing the gifts in there. They never go in there so I know they won’t even think to snoop. But the big black trash bag is a really good idea. Also is the list on the phone. I always make lists on my phone lol!! Maybe I’ll try that next year to save my body cause I feel so sore after sitting in the floor for so long!! I’m old hahah

Lol that worked out perfectly! I'll have to keep that in mind as well. I have some big black bags but my stuff is still in shipping boxes lol
