Okay so I go to the ER last night to get checked out for stomach virus and they send me upstairs to labor and delivery just for my Dr to tell me oh it just a stomach virus there is nothing we can do for it up here sorry gave me a zofran and sent me home ugh if I would have known they was just going to send me to labor and delivery I never would have went

We'll see usually they don't unless ur hurting or something close to that nature I straight up told her that it was a stomach virus

In some state like Georgia if you past 24 weeks u automatically go up to labor and delivery I like that because emergency room takes forever

See this is the first time they have done this and I have been pregnant 4 other times with a stomach virus after 26 weeks

@kimborocks, they can do all that in LD, you must have got a bad set of nurses or doctors?! 🤔 They weren’t concerned about dehydration??? That can cause preterm labor.

I have a stomach bug, my dr was begging me to go in to the hospital to get fluids. But I’ve also already been hospitalized for dehydration/kidney infection in October

That's what my Dr was worried about so she told me to go so I did and I have an ear infection dehydration and stomach virus but they sent me upstairs for it instead of seeing me downstairs like my Dr said they should have

Idk, I was 23 weeks when I was admitted to L&D for 4 days. I straight up told her, I’m not going back lol!! Luckily, I stopped throwing up and have been able to hydrate myself.
