Ladies I need some serious advice lol, you’d think I would know this considering I have 5 kids but each one is different. Delilah still wakes every couple hours during the night for a bottle and I still cannot get her in her crib and I NEED to, she will nap in it during the day but night time she screams bloody murder. She is seriously outgrown the rock n play and idk what to do. I don’t like letting her just cry it out because it didn’t seem to work and it made me sooo anxious and felt horrible. I can’t put her crib in my room I have no room for it but her room is attached to our room without a door on so I can literally see right into her room. I know it’s a big transition for her from her rock and play next to my bed to her own room AND a new bed but I gotta get her in there like ASAP before she flips herself out of this thing. She won’t sleep with me either I’ve tried. I’m at a serious loss, I was up til 2 am googling and couldn’t find anything other than I’ve tried already. Help!

She fit into a rock n play all the way up until 9m?! 😱 Holy moly that’s awesome! My son outgrew his at 3m 😬
Have you tried a nightlight in her room? We transitioned our son to his own room at the age of 1. Until then he slept a PNP in our room. Having a nightlight seemed to really help. They make really cute ones that turn and project shapes onto the ceiling, like stars, and that might help her to stay laying down and soothe her. Other than that I don’t have much more advice. We started naps in his room at 9m and then went to nights at one and he handled it like a champ, which I was SO grateful for. I expected major tears. The only major tears came from me. 🤣

@kandaceteresa, I’m sorry mama! I know it’s hard! Especially when there are tiny tears involved. Maybe look into some sleep training methods and pick one that you feel comfortable with? They have lots of CIO and non-CIO options. You’re doing a great job though! Just remember that while you’re going through this. ❤️

yeah I’m gonna try putting her down and let her cry for a few mins then go reassure her and just try extending the time between a couple mins at a time, may take a few days or more but hopefully will be worth it lol.

I know my son wont sleep in his crib the first half of the night but the second half he will, idk why but he does😂 maybe wait till she's in a deep sleep and move her to the crib. Do you have material on the sides of the crib were she can't see out of the crib, ikniw my son will freak out he has to be able to see out the crib by just laying in there or else he feels closed in. Amd if she starts freaking out come up to the crib rub her head and tell her its okay.. I also have an elegant that put a stars and moons in the cealing maybe try that

@kandaceteresa oh yeah its deff hard I try to sleep as much as I can well he's sleeping. I get irritated very easily and the screaming and crying is hard for me to handle

@kandaceteresa but I deal with it about half the day bc he'll freak out of I set him down

@kandaceteresa and there's times that I cry to because you just want them to stop crying or screaming, and you feel bad that their crying that bad
