Baby girl is 2w old as of yesterday
New revelations:
🔸Has a super furrow brow and blank stare when you try to tickle her
🔸when upset she gets the hiccups for 30 minutes
🔸Has deep dark blue eyes and what I think is blonde or mousy brown hair for now (?)
🔸She chokes on breast milk and hates being burped
🔸razor blades for nails she uses to climb up your chest
🔸with her eyes closed and mouth gaping likes to gum any skin she can find when hungry
🔸Likes her butt being patted continuously - if she isn’t asleep don’t bother stoping
🔸Will only sleep on her tummy, acts like her back is broken
🔸Won’t fall asleep unless it’s on moms boobs and will rip the shirt collar to find them 🤦🏻♀️
🔸Loves to frog kick the crap out of me while changing her diaper or trying to crap/pass gas
🔸sleeps like a drooling angel for 3 hours straight in the mid afternoon
But she follows along with me when I read her books, so that’s neat.

@skymomof4, @travis9347, I won’t argue with you two about what a two week old can or can’t do but when she’s hungry, has a wet diaper or is gassy it’s a complete different cry including tears, red face and strain rather then when she’s fussy because she’s tired and wants cuddles.
She will deny everyone holding her and giving her cuddles unless it’s me with a fit that has nothing to do with the three things I previously mentioned.
They fake cry and by that I mean fussy or frustration cry that sounds more like a whine rather than a hurt cry.

@skymomof4, thanks momma. ☺️I was such a grumpy baby and my lil MJ is soo much the same sometimes. She is hilarious with her furrowed brow and she can totally work us over even at this age.

I’ve seen the doctor and brought it up with him. I’ve weighed the concerns and I can’t stop her from turning to her side every time. 🤷🏻♀️ she never sleeps on her tummy for more than an hour before we flip her over.
I’m not too concerned with SIDS as I’ve come to terms with how paranoid it can make a stressed momma when theirs just not a whole lot of research in understanding its cause besides a few things that possibly contribute to it and considering how it benefits the government more to leverage off moms who fear their children’s well being by buying into every small concern and/or product.
I keep it practical.
Which is enough to keep sane.

It’s totally normal she only wants cuddles from you hun. That doesn’t make it a ‘fake’ cry per say. You are the person she fills absolutely and completely safe with in this giant new world. It’s awesome you can distinguish her cries though! It took me forever with my son. Lol
