My husband seems to think it's just as much as a moms event as it is the dads....but nothing involving child birth is 50/50 ....what do yall think?

I had everyone at my baby shower including my brother and his best friend.
To me it was about including everyone I wanted involved in my kids life and letting them know by having them all together and getting to know each other.
It’s just about the parents as much as it’s about the baby. It’s congratulating the new parents and being surrounded by the support.
Tradition or not, I made it personal to what holds true to me.
I’m also very untraditional and embrace awkward situations. 🤷🏻♀️

In my hubby in i family the baby shower is always mixed because its a
Party for the baby and we both made the baby

If he wants to be included, then I wouldn't take that away from him. It's mainly about the baby, but it's to celebrate a new life. Idk my husband, dad, and brothers were all at mine lol. I do co-ed everything since i have all boys in my family.

We always had a meet the baby shower and men were welcome in our family to the BBQ and gifts etc.
My family is very old school European and therefore you just don’t have baby showers before the birth lol 🤷🏻♀️
