Everyone I know as FTM gave birth early, and it seems like I’m going to be the only one who goes past my due date! Saw my Obgyn today and he said my cervix has went nowhere at all, he even did an ultrasound just to make sure my baby was head first. I’ll see him again Monday and he’ll check my cervix. My due date is Christmas and my baby is already 7lbs 12oz, if my baby comes in January he’ll be 10lbs. I get no sleep because of anticipation and being in the nesting phase. I just really hope the doctor induces me next week.

The weight thing is their best estimates. Sometimes they’re wayyy off. I would just try to relax and enjoy what’s left in you’re pregnancy. I know easier said than done. Hang in there ❤️

Its actually more common for first time moms to go close to or overdue. Those estimates are RARELY accurate and can be 2lbs off. I wish they'd stop doing weight estimates and stop scaring women.they told me at 36.4 my baby vfc was 8lbs and I should consider induction. I refused. My kiddo was born at 37.6 and was 7lbd 5 oz. My first I went over 40 weeks though.

I had my son at 39+6 and that’s only because they induced me due to swelling good job they didn’t leave it any longer because he wouldn’t be here because his cord was around his neck 3 times and hadn’t gained any weight since 36weeks because he wasnt getting everything he needed from my placenta. As @laniejay, said it’s more common for FTM to go over. Hang in there I know it’s frustrating but your little one will be here before you know it❤️. X

Awww man, all my friends were 5-10 days past... one friend was 42 weeks 😱😱 it’s a long wait I know... sending big hugs!!!!
