Exactly! It’s important for the ladies on here too most have to hide their ppd because of this! It’s a broken system! I went to therapy after my mom died and they diagnosed me with depression!!!! And forced pills on me! I was grieving for Christ sake!

Sorry to hear that but why is your child talking to a counselor she needs therapy or is standard for they to go to a counselor

We don’t know how it started! She must of said something to her teacher and was sent to go talk to the counselor🤷🏽♀️ when we call and ask they make up lies. Her birth mother recently abandoned her and her sister and she is going through a lot and is craving attention from anything and anyone.

Councilors and teachers are mandated reporters. The person was doing their job.

@mswedes, I understand this but we’re not going to allow our child to speak with someone who every single visit will call child services I’m sorry we don’t have time for all that🤷🏽♀️

all I’m saying is they need to be better at picking what child needs help bc it’s not Ike cps can pick what case is worth going to investigate they literally have to go to each one even the worker was like I don’t even know why I am here for this reason.

I understand where you’re coming from but it’s a legal obligation on their part. They can lose their jobs if they don’t report it. I think what’s more important is find the root of her “stories” and focus less on the reporters.
