When did everyone stop burping their baby’s?

When he started being able to do it on his own well.

With my first it was when he could do it on his own, with my 5m old I stopped when it would stress him out every time I'd stop feeding him to burp before the bottle was gone. I only burp my 5m old after he finishes his bottle and I only do it once

Every child is different but mine start doing it on there own about the 4th month

When he could sit unassisted. 6 mos or so. At that point burps came up on their own.
