Question! There’s a cool light thing almost 2 hours from me! Would my 10m old enjoy the lights enough to deal with a nighttime trip ? And by deal with a nighttime trip I mean if it’s 915 and we aren’t in bed, he is a real life monster🙈 He’ll cry until we get in bed.. 😅💙 What do you guys think ?

I think no matter what your baby may “act” up lights or no lights just from being tired.

Yeah. I didn’t mean he’s acting up for the lights. He’s just got a strict schedule and going to see the lights would break the schedule. 🙈

@romeowhiskey, my son is use to his schedule as well and then it’s like ingrained. That’s why I put act in quotation marks cuz I couldn’t think of another word lol.

We just took a ours to a light show and my 11 month old loved it!! But if it’s 2 hours away idk if I would chance that but ifs it’s his normal bedtime he would probably just sleep the whole time

Oh cool! Was yours a drive through ? This one would be us out walking around. I really feel he’s enjoy it, but the drive home would be awful. You’d think he’d fall asleep. We came home late from thanksgiving, he cried the entire way home. 36 minutes 🙈 it was awful. Singing, holding his hand, stopping to nurse, nothing helps. Maybe I’ll look into getting a hotel 🙈 I don’t want the trip either 😅😅

@romeowhiskey, ours was a drive through so it was perfect for us lol
And I totally get that thanksgiving we drove home and he scream 2.5 hours home only didn’t cry for a while 30 minutes

If you're planning on taking pictures of him it would be worth it for that. But just to see the lights I don't think so. He might not be very interested.

Yeah, I’ve already done Christmas photos. I’m thinking of just waiting for next year🙈 It’s my moms first Christmas as a grandma, so I’m trying to do everything 🙈 You know.
